The tour program:

Day 1 – Arrival in Reykjavik. Meeting at the airport. Transfer to the hotel. Hotel accommodation. Leisure time.

Day 2 – Breakfast at the hotel. Sightseeing tour of Reykjavik after breakfast. During the tour you become more familiar with the amazing capital of Iceland and will see the historic center of the city, the port, the museum of sculptures in the open air, the cathedral, viewing platforms and picturesque little streets. Afterwards – a visit to the Reykjanes Peninsula. Scientists and geologists believe that this peninsula is the “youngest” part of the country. Here you will see fantastic Icelandic landscapes created by lava flows surrounding the famous Blue Lagoon, a natural geothermal pool, where you can relax and swim. Returning to Reykjavik after the tour and short rest.

Day 3 – Breakfast at the hotel. A tour to the famous Golden Ring of Iceland: you will see Gullfoss waterfall, the Valley of Geysers, the craters of extinct volcanoes and the valley of Thingvellir where the most important events of Icelandic history took place. Returning to Reykjavik after the tour.

Day 4 – Breakfast at the hotel. A trip to the Snayfellsnes peninsula after the tour. You will see the amazing nature of the west coast of Iceland, the peninsula stretching far into the waters of the Atlantic Ocean, the two-headed volcano mentioned in J. Verne’s novel “Journey to the Center of the Earth”, marvel the lines of columnar basalt and the surreal, alien landscape of the island, climb up to the source of mineral water. Astounding beaches covered with lava and golden sand, bird colonies and a perfectly-round scatter of stones are waiting for you onwards. Returning to Reykjavik after the tour.

Day 5 – Breakfast at the hotel. Excursion to the south coast: a visit to beautiful waterfalls, the volcano museum, open-air museum, glacier, rocks by the ocean and the southernmost village in Iceland. Moving through the ice deserts and lava fields. You will have dinner in the evening and overnight in a charming farm hotel.

Day 6 – Breakfast. Your trip along the southern coast goes on: a visit to the National Park of Skaftafell where walking among picturesque landscapes you will stroll to the Svartifoss waterfall where water flows raining down from the basalt rocks. Next – visiting the glacier and a halt at the lagoon with icebergs. Return to the hotel in the evening, dinner and overnight

Day 7 – Breakfast. A trip to the alpine valley Landmannalёygar. You will see colorful mountains, lava fields, streams and lakes where you will be able to swim. Returning to Reykjavik after the tour.

Day 8 – Transfer to the airport. Departure from Reykjavik.
