Saturday:

Arrival in Lisbon. Transfer to the hotel. Hotel accommodation.
12:00 noon: sightseeing tour of Lisbon for 4 hours: Park of Eduardo VII, the main Cathedral, St. George’s Castle, the quarter of Alfama, Rossio Square, Square of Commerce; a visit to the district of Belém, where the Presidential Palace is located; a monument to Pioneers; a visit to the Tower of Belém and the Monastery of Jeronimos. After excursion – leisure time for shopping in malls or visiting the Oceanarium.

Sunday:

Breakfast. Spend the day discovering the town of Évora; a kaleidoscope of cultures, history and traditions. After leaving Lisbon, you will pass over the bridge crossing the Tagus River and continue the journey through the beautiful rural landscapes of olive trees, cork oak trees and vineyards until you arrive in Évora – city-museum of UNESCO World Heritage. You will have a walk in the narrow streets surrounded by whitewashed houses visiting the most important historical monuments of the city such as Roman Temple, the Cathedral and the Church of St. Francis with a “On the Bones” chapel. Lunch in a typical restaurant with traditional courses and wines of the region. Return to Lisbon. Leisure time.

Monday:

Breakfast. Departure to Coimbra (180 km.). On the way to Coimbra you will visit the medieval walled city of Obidos and the fishing village of Nazare. Lunch in a typical fish restaurant with the famous green wine. A visit to the Alcobaça and Batalha monasteries and places of Catholic pilgrimage – Fatima. Arrival in Coimbra and hotel accommodation. Leisure time.

Tuesday:

Breakfast. Sightseeing tour of Coimbra with a visit to the University, Library, Church of Santa Cruz and the “Portugal in miniature” Park. Lunch in Mealhada – a place famous with its milky pig served with a special white sparkling wine produced in the same area. A visit to the palace and park of Bussaco, and the resort of Luso. Departure to Porto (120 km); Arrival and hotel accommodation. Leisure time.

Wednesday:

Breakfast. Walking tour of Old Porto with a visit to the Cathedral and St. Francis Church. Cruise on the Douro River. Dinner at the hotel with dry wines produced in the valley of the River Douro. Leisure time in the city after lunch.

Thursday:

Breakfast. Excursion to the city of Braga with a visit to the Cathedral, Bom Jesus do Monte Church and to the city of Guimarães with a visit to City Castle and St. Miguel Church. Lunch in Guimarães. Return to Porto and a port wine tasting in the cellars.

Friday:

Breakfast. Departure from Porto to Lisbon. On the way to Lisbon: a sightseeing tour of Tomar (residence of the Templers since 1159) and a visit to the monastery. Lunch in a traditional restaurant in Tomar. Arriving at the airport of Lisbon, departing from Lisbon (or continuing the program – vacation on the Lisbon Riviera, Algarve or on Madeira).
