Muslim tourists in Malaysia has recently offered accommodation in halal hotels and additional available services such as clothing and mats to pray, copies of the Koran, and special facilities for making the small bath in the bathrooms.
On the sixth floor of a luxury hotel in Ampang, the suburb of Kuala Lumpur, speakers in the hall are broadcasting verses from Koran for nearly 24 hour.
Each room is equipped with a copy of the Holy Koran on the bedside table and with sets of clothes for prayer on the bed. The bathrooms are equipped with additional faucets to simplify the small bath.
The rooms are reserved only for Muslim guests on the “Islamic floor”.
In “Islamic floor” rooms are reserved for guests only Muslims. Adhan, the call for prayer, is radiocasted 5 times a day on the first floor. After adhan the guests and staff are gathering in a special room and making namaz behind one of the four imams.
