Costa Rica for a week "Hanging Bridges of Selvatura" excursion. After the tour we will leave for the province of Puntarenas in the direction of the Central Pacific Coast. A new tour will begin on the banks of the river Río Grande de Tarcoles. During next 2 hours you will visit this tropical world of animals. You will sail a boat on the Tarcoles River up to its mouth in the channel of Guacalillo. You will be able to watch the huge American Crocodiles (up to 4 m long) swimming in a short distance from the boat, iguanas, various tropical birds (up to 50 species) with famous macaw among them.

Day 1. San Jose, Cosa Rica

Day 2. San Jose – Poas volcano – Arenal volcano

National Park Volcan Poas, a home to one of the world’s largest geysers with crater diameter of 1.5 km. Coffee plantation Doka where the best Costa Rican coffee is grown. A visit to the butterfly farm. Traditional Costa Rican lunch, transfer to the Arenal Volcano known for its activity – periodic spectacular eruptions of ash and lava. Accommodation at the Los Lagos Hotel.

Day 3. Volcan Arenal National Park – Tabacon thermal springs

A walking tour of the Arenal National Reserve. Lunch at Los Lagos. In the evening: a visit to the thermal springs of Tabacon (best thermal spa in the country) where you can take a hot relaxing bath in natural waters and observe volcanic emissions of Arenal (under favorable conditions); dinner at Tabacone. Accommodation at Los Lagos hotel.

Day 4. Monteverde reserve

After an hour’s walk along the paths with a magnificent view of the Gulf of Nicoya and the possibility of a refreshing dip into the crystal waters of the waterfall we invite you to come back to the starting point of the tour on horseback. Here you will find a traditional Costa Rican lunch. After that you will continue your journey to the hotel in Monteverde. Accommodation at the hotel (Ficus/El Establo; breakfast/lunch/dinner). Dinner at the hotel.

Day 5. Monteverde – Manuel Antonio

You will sail a boat on the Tarcoles River up to its mouth in the channel of Guacalillo. You will continue the journey to the popular tourist town of Quepos near Manuel Antonio National Park, the gem of Costa Rica, right after the lunch. Hotel accommodation (Karahe/Parador; breakfast/lunch).

Day 6. National Park of Manuel Antonio

After having breakfast you will visit the Manuel Antonio National Park located in the area of ​​ humid tropical forests. This park preserves the ages-old vegetation of tropical rainforests, mangroves, coral reefs of the coastal beach zone. There are almost all species of Costa Rican jungles: 109 species of mammals (including badger, two-toed and three-toed sloths, howlers monkeys, capuchin monkeys and jaguars) and 184 species of birds (including toucans, pelicans, green kingfishers, sparrow hawks, fishermen and sea cocks). Also, a huge number of insects, snakes and lizards are existing on the territory of Manuel Antonio. Hotel accommodation (Karahe/Parador; breakfast)
