Day 1:
Departure from Moscow to Vilnius from Belorussky railway station.
Day 2:
Arrival in Vilnius. Representative of the company will meet the tourists at the railway station. Breakfast at the café in the old town. Transfer to Siauliai (approx. 200 km); a Lithuanian shrine and a place of pilgrimage, the Hill of Crosses is situated 12 km afar from Siauliai (on the Kaliningrad-Riga highway). The Hill of Cross is a mound with a variety of crosses; their total number is about fifty thousand. Despite the resemblance, The Hill of Crosses is not a cemetery. According to popular belief, the one who will leave a cross at the Hill of Crosses will catch a lucky star.
Lunch. A visit to the estate of the miller where the hostess in national costume will tell and demonstrate the baking process and treat with fresh bread made from rye and wheat flour. Getting familiar with the windy mill. Moving to Palanga (approx. 195 km). Hotel accommodation. Leisure time. Overnight at the hotel in Palanga.
Day 3:
Breakfast. Getting acquainted with Palanga: Palanga stretches over 24 km along the sandy coast. Palanga is an excellent resting place for lovers of passive and active recreation. Sandy beaches, ancient park with a manor, bike paths and different cultural events attract tourists every year. Amber Museum. Leisure time. Walking on the Baltic coast that is famous for its beaches and dunes.
Dinner at the entertainment center «HBH» which includes restaurants with national cuisine and “Juozas Alus” brewery as well as hotel, camping, sculpture park, sauna, stable, henhouse, souvenir shops, various sports courts for basketball, volleyball, soccer and paintball. Overnight at the hotel in Palanga.
Day 4:
Breakfast. Departure to Klaipeda (30 km). Klaipeda (188.8 thous. Inhabitants) is the northernmost ice-free port on the Baltic Sea and the only seaport in Lithuania. Klaipeda has been an important trade center since ancient times. I the XIII century the city was visited by the merchants from North and South crossing the Baltic Sea. Tour of Klaipeda. Old town.
The crossing by ferry across the Curonian Lagoon. Excursion to the Curonian Spit. Curonian Spit is a unique and original piece of land in the heart of Europe preserved by fate and local people. When in 1961 a city was founded in the Lithuanian part of the Curonian Spit the, a new name of terrain – Neringa – appeared on the map. Neringa is one of the most beautiful resorts on the shore of Baltic Sea. In 2000, the Curonian Spit was included in the UNESCO World Heritage List as a cultural landscape object. A visit to the ethnographic museum “House of the fisherman”. Lunch in Nida. Return to Palanga. Overnight at the hotel in Palanga.
Day 5:
Breakfast. Moving to Kaunas (approx. 230 km). Tour of Kaunas, the second largest city in Lithuania situated at the confluence of the rivers Nemunas and Neris. Kaunas is a very ancient city which was founded in 1362. Kaunas is also considered to be the second capital of Lithuania. Čiurlionis National Museum. Devil Museum. Lunch at the BERNELIŲ UŽEIGA restaurant. Leisure time.
Arrival at Vilnius. Hotel accommodation. Overnight at the hotel in Vilnius.
