Day 1
Arrival in Barcelona. Meeting at the airport, transfer to the hotel. Hotel accommodation. Walk tour to the Gothic Quarter and Las Ramblas Street, including the Cathedral, ancient villas, palaces and churches. Catalan-style dinner in the open-air museum “Spanish Village” * and the fascinating show of the Magic Fountain. Overnight.
Day 2
Breakfast. City tour of Barcelona with a visit to the Catalonia Square, Spanish Square, Montjuic hill, the Columbus Monument, the Port, Sagrada Familia, the Passeig de Gracia, Park Güell and the Eixample district. Free time. Overnight.
Day 3
Breakfast. Excursion to Montserrat – one of the most beautiful rock reserves in Catalonia where at 700 meters above the seal level the Benedictine monastery retains the miraculous statue of the “Black Madonna” – patroness of Catalonia. Return to the hotel. Free time. Overnight.
Day 4
Breakfast. Moving to Valencia – the third largest city of Spain. A walk tour through the breathtaking historical center of the city with a visit to the Cathedral, Central Rialto, Silken Burse, City Hall, the Town of Science and Arts. Transit to Madrid (via train). Hotel accommodation. Overnight.
Day 5
Breakfast. Sightseeing tour of Madrid with a visit to the Gran Vía, Alcalá, Puerto del Sol, Spain and Columbus Squares, Paseo del Prado and the Retiro Park. Free time. In the evening, a walk through the main streets and squares of “native” Madrid where urban history had begun (dates back to 8th century)*. The flamenco performance and a dinner in a typical cabaret. Overnight.
Day 6
Breakfast. Excursion to Toledo, the ancient capital of Spain. Panorama of medieval architectural ensemble with the Cathedral *, churches, synagogues and monasteries. Getting acquainted with traditional “damascene” crafts, marzipans and Toledo steel. Free time. Overnight.
Day 7
Breakfast. Traveling to Aragon province of Spain by train. Walk tour to Zaragoza with a visit to Nuestra Senora del Pilar, Bourse, La Seo Cathedral, Episcopal Palace and other places of interest of different ages. Departure to Barcelona (by train). Transfer. Overnight.
Day 8
Breakfast. Transfer to the airport. End of the tour
