Day 1. Buenos-Aires
Arrival at the airport of Buenos-Aires. Individual transfer to the hotel (with Russian-speaking guide).
Day 2. Buenos-Aires
Breakfast at the hotel. Tour of Buenos Aires accompanied by Russian-speaking guide (City Tour).
This tour will give you the opportunity to get familiar with the many-sided life of the city and inhabitants. You will see the symbol of the city, a 67-meters high obelisk standing on the widest street of the world, 9th July Avenue. You will see the extraordinary square in the Plaza de Mayo as well as the Square of St. Martin, Congress Square, Avenue Corrientes, Mayo and much more. You will visit the historic districts of the city such as La Boca, San Telmo and Montserrat, elegant and prestigious districts of Palermo and Rozeleta. The tour program also includes a visit to the modern urban district of Puerto Madero, Lezama Park and 3rd February Park A visit to the financial and commercial center of the city and to the football stadium rounds up the program for Day 2.
Afternoon visit to the unforgettable tango show with dinner (group tour without a guide).
Day 3. Buenos-Aires/El Calafate
Breakfast at the hotel. Individual transfer to the airport (without a guide). Departure to El Calafate. Arrival in El Calafate. Individual transfer to the hotel.
Day 4. El Calafate
Breakfast at the hotel. A guided group tour to the Perito Moreno glacier.
Perito Moreno glacier is an imposing giant icy river with a length of 100 km, a height of 60 m and a width of about 4 km, slowly gliding from the peaks of the Andes to the waters of the Argentine lake. Hundreds of thousands of tourists from all over the world are attending Moreno each year to admire the spectacular views of glacier loudly and powerfully crumbling and slipping down the water causing huge waves.
Day 5. El Calafate-Foz de Iguaçu
Breakfast at the hotel. Individual transfer to the airport (without a guide). Departure to Foz de Iguaçu. Meeting with Russian-speaking guide upon arrival in the city. Transfer to the selected hotel.
Day 6. Foz de Iguaçu
Breakfast. Guided excursion to Argentine Falls. We will tour the National Park and admire the waterfalls from special observation decks high above them. Multi-ton currents and streaks of water form a huge number of waterfalls of various shapes and heights with rainbows hanging upwards. Devil’s Throat is considered to be a particularly impressive one and the largest of the waterfalls in the Park. The National Park covers an area of 55,500 hectares preserving various unique species of local flora and fauna.
Then you will find a rich and interesting excursion program (with Russian-speaking guide) to Foz de Iguaçu Falls located on the border of Brazil, Argentine and Paraguay. Foz de Iguaçu is 275 water streams falling down a terrible height. These waterfalls located in the national park have appeared as a result of volcanic eruption and Earth formations’ displacement. Their name translated from Guarani means “big water”. 275 waterfalls, each having its own name, are audibly falling down in the canyon of “Devil’s Throat”. Surprising contrast between the calm and even shiftless flows of Iguaçu river and the waterfalls powerfully overturning furious streams of water from a height of 72 meters into the abyss is just thrilling! You can stand for hours contemplating the sight and thinking of universal grandeur and eternity.
Day 7. Foz de Iguaçu – Rio de Janeiro
Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to the airport (with a Russian-speaking guide). Departure to Rio. Meeting with Russian-speaking guide upon arrival in the city. Transfer to the hotel.
You are free to chose how to spend the rest of the day. Perhaps someone wants to see and feel the lush life of the city. Perhaps someone would like some privacy; it is always easy to wind a blank space somewhere in between palm trees, sandy beaches and ocean waves.
Day 8. Rio de Janeiro
Breakfast at the hotel. A half-day guided excursion to the Sugar Loaf. The first halt will take place on the Urca mountain with a wide observation deck where you can lunch at local restaurant or bar. The Sugar Loaf has a bit smaller viewpoint yet giving a marvelous view of Rio’s Copacabana beach, the bay, the surrounding islands and mountains, Niteroi bridge and the statue of Christ.
Then you will visit (by car) the central districts of the old Rio with a few old churches, monasteries, the main Cathedral of the city as well as buildings of colonial style.
Day 9. Rio de Janeiro
We will set off on a city tour with Russian-speaking guide right after breakfast: old churches, monasteries, the Cathedral as well as buildings constructed in colonial style. Arriving at the station, we will trip to the top of Corcovado Hill by environmentally-friendly train driving through the jungles. Both sides of the railway offers spectacular views of the Tijuca forest inhabited by monkeys and other exotic animals and birds. Statue of Christ the Savior (38 m) built in 1931 is majestically rising at an altitude of 700 m above the sea level on the top of Corcovado Hill. The hills offers a breathtaking panorama of the metropolis and its surroundings: Bridge Niteroi, Guanabara Bay, the Botanical Garden, the world’s largest stadium Maracana, Sugar Loaf etc.
Day 10. Rio de Janeiro
Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to the airport of Rio de Janeiro (without a guide)for an international flight.
The cost of the program is AZN 2550 per person.
